Huge Boost: Rangers Fans Breathe Easy Again As They received good news regarding two of their key players.

Texas Rangers Battling Injuries, Look to Rebound with Key Players Returning

The Texas Rangers have been dealing with a relentless wave of injuries this season, losing several important players to the injured list. Standouts like Nathan Eovaldi, Tyler Mahle, and Adolis García have all missed time while recovering.

Despite the constant roster challenges, the team has managed to stay competitive. Given the number of players sidelined, the Rangers have adjusted quickly and remained resilient.

Mahle and García Nearing Return

Currently, they sit third in the American League West with a 74-70 record — not among the league’s elite, but far from the bottom. And with two major contributors set to return soon, there’s hope that the team could gain momentum heading into the final stretch.

There’s some good news on the injury front. As reported by Shawn McFarland of the Dallas News, manager Bruce Bochy said Tyler Mahle “could possibly start with us this weekend,” just in time for the series against the New York Mets.

Mahle has been sidelined since June due to a shoulder injury. His recovery has been steady, with his most recent rehab appearance seeing him throw 46 pitches. Before the injury, the right-hander posted an impressive 2.34 ERA in the majors.

Outfielder Adolis García is also expected back soon. According to MLB.com’s Kennedi Landry, García could return within a week, likely rejoining the team during their three-game set against the Houston Astros.

García landed on the 10-day IL in early September with a right quad strain. While the team initially hoped for a quick return, his recovery required more time than expected.

With a long list of players still on the IL, the pending returns of Mahle and García come as a much-needed boost. In the meantime, the rest of the roster will need to step up as the Rangers prepare to face the league-leading Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night.
