BREAKING: The Green Bay Packers Have Signed an offensive line un-drafted free agent deal from their Rival

The Green Bay Packers took proactive steps to shore up weaknesses across all positions during the 2024 NFL draft, focusing particularly on bolstering the offensive line and defense with 9 out of their 11 draft picks allocated to these areas. As is customary, numerous undrafted free agents swiftly joined teams following the draft’s conclusion, with the Packers notably securing a former Wisconsin Badgers player.

Back in February 2022, Bisaccia ascended to the position of the NFL’s highest-ranked special teams coordinator. However, two years into his tenure, this achievement hasn’t yielded the desired results.

This unfortunate trend extends to Green Bay frequently ranking at the bottom in special teams over the past two decades, with five instances of finishing dead last (in 2005, 2006, 2014, 2018, and 2021) and placing between 26th and 31st on six occasions (in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2016, 2019, 2020, and 2023).

The Packers’ playoff defeats in recent seasons have often been attributed to special teams errors. While the acquisition of a long-snapper may not garner the same excitement as other signings, it represents a potential step forward for an area of the team in need of improvement.
