Major Breaking: Phillies’ Bryce Harper Sends 3-Word Mind Blowing Message To Alec Bohm With Move Expected

The Philadelphia Phillies are set to close out their regular season with series against the Miami Marlins and Minnesota Twins, heading into the playoffs as division champions for the second straight year. While overtaking the Milwaukee Brewers for the top seed remains a possibility, the Phillies are more focused on fine-tuning their lineup and pitching rotation for a strong postseason showing.

A key part of that preparation involves figuring out the best lineup spot for third baseman Alec Bohm. After returning from injury, Bohm was slotted into the sixth spot in the order against the Arizona Diamondbacks and impressed with eight hits in 13 at-bats, four RBIs, and no strikeouts. Manager Rob Thomson suggested a move up in the order may be warranted after such a strong performance, possibly placing Bohm in the cleanup spot behind star slugger Bryce Harper.

That shift could mean more at-bats for Bohm and potentially offer Harper more protection in the lineup—if opposing pitchers view Bohm as a significant threat. However, Harper was skeptical that the move would change how pitchers approach him. “I doubt it,” Harper said, clarifying that it wasn’t a criticism of Bohm but rather a recognition that pitchers are more likely to focus on him and Kyle Schwarber, who typically bats ahead of him.

Harper acknowledged Bohm’s value, saying having a hitter behind him who makes consistent contact and gets on base is important in any lineup configuration. Fans may recall Bohm’s struggles in last year’s postseason, which led to him being benched and sparked offseason trade rumors. This year, wherever he ends up in the order, the Phillies are hoping Bohm can continue his hot streak heading into October.
