Breaking: Pittsburgh Steelers’ loses 25 years old Pro Bowler Target To Season Ending Injury

The Cleveland Browns have announced that inside linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will be placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, ruling him out for the entire 2025 NFL season. The news delivers a significant setback to a Browns defense that relies heavily on his playmaking ability.

Owusu-Koramoah sustained a serious neck injury during an October 27 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. While attempting a tackle, he lowered his head and was subsequently carted off the field. He did not return for the remainder of the 2024 season after that incident.

Because of the sensitive nature of neck injuries, the Browns are approaching his recovery with caution. His long-term status in the NFL remains uncertain, and the team is closely monitoring his health and progression before making any future decisions.

Browns general manager Andrew Berry emphasized that Owusu-Koramoah’s well-being takes precedence over football. In a statement, Berry explained that while the linebacker has shown signs of improvement, the organization has decided to keep him sidelined for 2025. He added that the team remains supportive of Owusu-Koramoah and will stand by him as he continues rehabilitation under expert medical guidance.

Despite the injury, Owusu-Koramoah remains an integral part of the Browns’ organization. Though he won’t be on the field, his presence within the team is expected to continue. The Browns are refraining from speculating about his football future for now, focusing instead on his health and recovery.

At just 25 years old, Owusu-Koramoah has already built an impressive résumé. A Pro Bowl selection in 2023 and a member of the All-Rookie team in 2021, he quickly emerged as one of the NFL’s most promising young linebackers. His future may now be in question, but his talent and past performance remain undeniable.
