Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson didn’t take home the NFL MVP award for the 2024 season, though many felt he was deserving. He delivered an outstanding performance both in the air and on the ground but ultimately lost out to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Jackson completed 66.7% of his passes, throwing for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and only four interceptions. He also rushed for 915 yards and added four touchdowns with his legs.
It’s rare for a player to post such impressive numbers and not earn MVP honors.
Looking ahead to the 2025 season, fans are eager to see if Jackson can replicate or even surpass his 2024 performance.

According to ESPN’s predictions for the 28-year-old star, a noticeable drop in production is expected.
Their projections suggest Jackson will throw for 3,345 yards, 28 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, while rushing for 793 yards and four touchdowns.
Of course, these are only estimates—Jackson could easily exceed expectations and match or top his prior season’s performance.
The Ravens ended last season with a 12-5 record and were strong contenders in the AFC but were eliminated in the divisional round by the Bills. They aim to make a deeper playoff run in 2025.
