Breaking: Grizzlies Confirmed Another Major Contracts in a Blockbuster Bridge Deal

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Javon Small, the 48th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, to a two-way contract, per an official team.

Javon Small played college basketball at East Carolina, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia, finishing his final season with the Mountaineers by averaging 18.6 points and 5.6 assists per game. The 6’3″ guard also shot 35.3% from beyond the arc on 7.3 attempts per game.

Memphis giving Small a two-way contract was anticipated, as the team’s 15-man standard roster will be full once the reported signings of Santi Aldama, Ty Jerome, Cam Spencer, and Jock Landale are finalized—leaving no room for Small on a standard deal.

Memphis already has returning guard Zyon Pullin occupying one of its two-way spots, leaving just a single two-way vacancy. Cam Spencer and free-agent guard Yuki Kawamura both finished last season on two-way contracts with the Grizzlies, but Kawamura was not extended a qualifying offer.

The lone unsigned draftee is Jahmai Mashack, who could use the Las Vegas Summer League as a showcase to secure that remaining two-way deal.
