Breaking: Memphis Sends Stretch Big To Indiana for Draft Compensation !!

According to ESPN, the Memphis Grizzlies are trading center Jay Huff to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for a second-round pick and a second-round pick swap.

Huff, who has previously played for the Lakers, Wizards, Nuggets, and Grizzlies over his four-year NBA career, made a name for himself last season in Memphis as a reliable stretch five, hitting 40.5% of his three-point attempts.

The 7’1″ Jay Huff averaged 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks in just 11.7 minutes per game last season, showcasing efficiency in limited action.

With Myles Turner departing for the Milwaukee Bucks in free agency, the Pacers add much-needed frontcourt depth. Huff will slot in behind Isaiah Jackson and Tony Bradley in Indiana’s rotation.

A former member of the University of Virginia’s 2018 national championship team, Huff is under contract for three more years at roughly \$8 million total, with the final year being a team option.
