Just In: Bills 26 years Old Veteran Confirmed New Home With Rival From Northeastern Florida

Former Buffalo Bills TE Quintin Morris signing with Jacksonville Jaguars

Former Buffalo Bills tight end Quintin Morris has signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent, according to Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz, who first reported the move. Specifics of the contract were not disclosed at the time of the announcement.

Now 26, Morris brought athleticism to the tight end position in Buffalo but faced limited playing time due to the depth chart. He primarily served as the third option behind Dawson Knox, a third-round pick in 2019, and Dalton Kincaid, selected in the first round in 2023. Despite limited snaps, Morris made the most of his chances, becoming a dependable red-zone target for quarterback Josh Allen during his three-year stint.

An undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green, Morris is known for his physicality and strong blocking abilities in both the running and passing game. Over 45 games, including four starts, with the Bills, he recorded 15 receptions on 22 targets for 146 yards and three touchdowns, according to Pro Football Reference.

Earlier this spring, there was some speculation that the Buffalo Bills might attempt to bring back Quintin Morris, even though they chose not to extend a tender offer to him during the offseason. Before the start of the 2025 league year, Morris held restricted free agent status, but he became an unrestricted free agent once the new NFL calendar took effect.
