GOOD NEWS: Packers Re-sign Three Exclusive Rights Free Agents…

The Packers re-signed three exclusive rights free agents on Tuesday, per the NFL transaction wire.

Wide receiver Bo Melton, punter Daniel Whelan, and running back Emanuel Wilson officially signed their contract tenders.

Wilson, 25, played all 17 games for Green Bay last season, recording 103 carries for 502 yards and four touchdowns, along with 11 catches for 48 yards and a score.

Originally undrafted out of Fort Valley State in 2023, Wilson initially signed with the Broncos but was released after a few days.

He then joined the Packers, made the team, and appeared in seven games before being placed on injured reserve.

Melton, 25, played in all 17 games for the Packers last season, finishing with eight catches for 91 yards.

A seventh-round pick by the Titans in 2022, he spent time on the Seahawks’ practice squad before Green Bay signed him to their active roster on December 27, 2022.

In 2023, he appeared in five games with one start, recording 16 receptions for 218 yards and a touchdown.

Whelan, 26, has served as the Packers’ punter for the past two seasons, posting an average of 46.2 yards on 113 punts with a 39.5-yard net average.
